1. What This Notice Covers

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a U.S. law that addresses the collection of personal information from children under 13. This page explains how TalkPebble approaches child-related information in light of COPPA.

This notice should be read with our Privacy Policy and Children’s Privacy page. It is educational and is not a claim of certified COPPA, GDPR, or similar compliance. Practices should be reviewed with qualified counsel for your launch markets.

2. Directed to Parents, Not Children

TalkPebble is directed to parents and caregivers. We do not offer child self-signup. We do not knowingly allow children to create independent accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children as account holders.

When caregivers enter information about a child (for example name, date of birth, or Communication Check answers), that information is provided by the adult account holder so the app can offer age-appropriate educational guidance.

Adults who join Early Access on the website may share a child’s age range only. The Early Access form does not collect a child’s name or date of birth.

3. Parental Control

The adult who creates the TalkPebble account controls what child-related information is entered. Parents and caregivers may request access, correction, or deletion of that information by emailing info@talkpebble.com, or by following the steps on our Delete Account page.

4. We Do Not Sell Children’s Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or marketing pixels in the current website or mobile app based on the current product configuration. Optional push notifications go to the caregiver's device when enabled; they are not directed at children as account holders. Analytics events are designed to avoid sending child names, dates of birth, Communication Check answer text, or free-text notes.
