Children’s Privacy

1. Who TalkPebble Is For

TalkPebble is intended for parents and caregivers. Accounts are created by adults. We do not offer child self-signup. Children should not create or control TalkPebble accounts.

This page summarizes our children’s privacy practices. The full Privacy Policy and COPPA notice also apply.

2. Information About Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children as account holders. Caregivers may enter information about their child so the app can provide age-appropriate educational guidance. That information is provided by the adult account holder.

On the public website, adults who join Early Access may share a child’s age range (an age band such as “12–18 months”). We do not collect a child’s name or date of birth through the Early Access form.

Depending on how you use the app, you may choose to enter:

• Child name, date of birth, gender, and language preferences
• Concerns and optional background observations
• Communication Check answers and related session information
• Activity completion records (such as which activities you tried, optional notes, and what you noticed)

You should enter information about a child only if you are authorized to do so as a parent or caregiver.

3. How We Use This Information

Child-related information is used to operate parent-guided features (such as profiles and Communication Check), to provide age-aware educational content, and to improve TalkPebble. We do not sell personal information.

Product analytics are designed to avoid sending child names, dates of birth, Communication Check answer text, or free-text notes. Optional push notifications (such as daily practice reminders) are sent to the parent's device when enabled; they are not directed at children as account holders.

4. If a Child Contacts Us Directly

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a way that is inconsistent with this policy, contact us at info@talkpebble.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

5. Access, Correction, and Deletion

Parents and caregivers can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, including child-related information tied to their account. To make a request, email info@talkpebble.com. Account deletion instructions are on our Delete Account page.
